scans / Imaging

MRI scans are a very effective way of checking for damage or abnormalities in the soft tissue, such as cartilage, tendons, muscles and ligaments.

An MRI scan can be used to help diagnose conditions which a standard X-ray can miss, such as injury to the ligaments of the knee or damage to a spinal disc.

Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound Imaging

This specific form of imaging can assist patients and therapists in the treatment and recovery from all manner of injury, whether sporting or otherwise. Musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound has become a very useful imaging tool for evaluating soft tissue and joint related abnormalities.  It is an important imaging technique for the diagnosis and follow-up of patients with joint pain and dysfunction, and soft tissue injury, and assists in the clinical management of sports injuries, joint disorders and disease.
