Regardless of their profession, any individual can develop work-related injuries. Whether a role is sedentary, manual or repetitive, it is difficult to completely avoid injury. However, with our assistance the risks can be reduced.
We can offer our patients ergonomic assessments to address such work-related issues. This would involve a site visit and subsequent review of your work station or area, with observation of work-related tasks which are vital to your job. Aspects of your occupation which can be altered include:
- Chair dimensions and suitability
- Desk and desk equipment layout/suitability
- Lifting techniques and posture
- Workload management
A subsequent report can then be completed detailing our observations, as well as any recommendations we may have to help reduce pain and restriction at work. You are directed to our 'DSE Assessment' tab at the side of the page to find out more.
