Keeping fit has become increasingly important in recent years, but not many people maintain fitness. We make it a core element of our treatment to ensure all our patients are educated in ways to keep fit and develop their physical condition.
Programmes can be developed for each individual client based on simple home exercises requiring no equipment, or those to be used specifically in a gym or health club environment.
Why is it important to keep fit?
From our point of view, a high baseline level of fitness can help to reduce the chances of injury and speed up recovery times after injury occurrence. Improving fitness can develop muscle tone and mobility, which can help with aspects such as reducing joint degeneration and incidence of lower back pain in later life.
