All clinicians have public liability and indemnity insurance through their respective governing bodies with a minimum cover of £5million and are first aid qualified – including CPR. Mark Leather Physiotherapy Ltd also wishes to make it wholly clear that all clinicians and clinics registered to receive referrals through ourselves will adhere to all relevant Health and Safety regulations at all times. Injuries can be sustained as a result of direct trauma, sport, daily activity or related to your occupation. All our clinicians are experienced in treating a wide range of musculo-skeletal injuries from the acute to chronic stage. All subsequent treatment and rehabilitation techniques are evidence-based, and we are committed to extending, applying, evaluating and reviewing the evidence that underpins its practice and delivery. Clinicians are also able to access evidence based exercise sheets and rehabilitation videos via our website to pass onto patients to aid recovery
All clinicians are made aware of their professional responsibilities which include the following:
- Record keeping.
- Completion of appropriate reports.
- Patient appointments.
- Communication of queries regarding patients under their care. All queries are responded to within 24 hours.
- Annual CPD - all our clinicians complete regular CPD to advance their own clinical knowledge. This is a requirement of their governing body to validate their professional insurance
- Informing Mark Leather Physiotherapy Ltd of complaints. All complaints are logged immediately.
